Forming the empirical basis for this study are 119 field observations of organized meetings and informal meetings before and after organized meetings, during visits to youth care institutions in Sweden, social services offices, and the Swedish National Board of Institutional Care. In the article, interactive patterns involved in the construction of these phenomena will be analyzed.

The purpose of this study is to describe successful collaboration even if it unfolds during shorter interaction frequencies. Earlier research on collaboration shows that cooperation comprises problems and conflicts. ”Coherent Triads: Observed Successful Collaboration in Youth Care”, pp. International Conference of Humanities and Social Sciences - Creativity, Imaginary, Language, Craiova University, Craiova, Romania (20150515-20150516). An important outcome was the students' improvement in translation strategies awareness. In particular, the complex issues of equivalence and non-equivalence at above-the-word level were tackled as part of the course activities, especially collocations, idioms, and metaphors which are culture-bound by nature. The findings revealed that although the students' linguistic competence was relatively advanced, their intercultural competence was still in need of improvement. During the explicit training throughout the semester, we analysed and translated texts by trying to frame them within the social, political and economic background of the countries where the articles were published. The analysis of students' work was made taking into account two methodological aspects: the linguistic dimension as well as the cultural one. The texts that we used for translating purposes were taken from the business press and they represented quite a novelty for the students, since they had previously received training only in literary translations during their BA studies. The aim of this paper is to present the findings of an experiment with MA students in English Philology, carried out during the translations class included in their academic curriculum. The results obtained revealed certain differences between Romanian and British cultures, in particular in relation to attitudes towards work, and especially towards laziness, which is especially sanctioned in the Romanian corpus.

The instruments used were the automatic concordancing software ConcApp, various dictionaries and lexical datasets available online. A first step was an analysis of work related proverbs, especially found in English and Romanian, in order to establish some proto-categories of cognitive metaphors. The research was carried out on two self-made corpora, of approximately 500,000 words each. The aim of this paper is to get an overview of the metaphorical language used in both Romanian and British business press, in order to identify similarities and differences in the way in which work is conceptualized in the two cultures.

As a conclusion, it appears that conceptualisations of companies are rather similar in the two corpora, with differences assignable to cultural, social or historical differences. The analysis is carried out on two corpora (British and Romanian), consisting of articles from general audience and financial broadsheets, written during 2002-2015, i.e.: The Economist, The Guardian, The Financial Times and The Telegraph for the British corpus and Adevărul, Adevărul financiar, Jurnalul Naţional, Cotidianul, Capital, and Ziarul financiar for the Romanian corpus. Traditionally, though rather antagonistically, companies are regarded both as lifeless " machines ", over which mechanistic control may be exerted, and as " living organisms ", and derived from the latter, as " systems of change " : a " lethargic " company may be transformed in an investor. The analysis framework for this investigation is based both on a pragma-linguistic approach, and on the cognitive metaphor theory, as well as on anthropological theories of cultural categories.
